Once you download and open the app, simply scroll down and register. Then add a child profile, and assess your child’s wellbeing in under 5 minutes whenever you like to discover games and activities best suited to your child’s current mood.

How to use the lumin&us® App
Give yourself a quiet ten minutes to download the app and set up your profile.
- Download lumin&us® from Google Play or the App Store & register for a FREE account. If you are going for PREMIUM account, you can confirm that as part of the registration process once you've completed your profile and are ready to explore the games.
- Complete a short questionnaire to determine the state of your wellbeing based on your thoughts, feelings & behaviours. You know what they say... we can't help others before helping ourselves. Understanding your own emotional state puts you in a better place to help your child in turn.
- Learn more about your current state & find out how to improve your wellbeing in less than 5 minutes.
- Learn about what your child’s behaviours are telling you & what you can do to improve their wellbeing.
- Complete a short questionnaire to determine the state of your child’s wellbeing based on their thoughts, feelings and behaviours.
- Choose from a list of fun, accessible & engaging games and activities specific tailored to meet the unique needs of your child & improve their wellbeing (and behaviours). With the premium version of the app you will receive bespoke personalised games and recommendations, along with tracking over time to see your progress and much more.

Who created lumin&us®?
Working alongside families and other mental health professionals, lumin&us® was created by Charlotte Jenkins and Lisa Merryweather-Millard. Charlotte is a qualified Social Worker and the CEO and Founder of Beacon Family Services, an organisation providing therapeutic support to families in the West Midlands (UK), as well as internationally online. Lisa is a qualified teacher, educator, former secondary school leader and founder of a multi-disciplinary graphic design studio.
Together, Charlotte and Lisa founded Beacon Services Resources CIC, a research and development company working with families, organisations, government agencies and other professionals to support children and young people. lumin&us® is their first, available product.
